The Fountain

Three men (Hugh Jackman) in different times strive to find the clue to immortality in an attempt to save their beloved wife (Rachel Weiss). In the 16th century Thomas, a Spanish conqueror, searches for the legendary Fountain of Youth. Present day. Scientist Tommy is searching for a cure for his wife who is dying of cancer. 26th century. Space traveler on his ship is perhaps experiencing the truth about love, birth and death. All three men desperately try to live with their wife for the eternity, without realizing that her life is running through their fingers meanwhile.
