Ry Cooder, a renowned American musician and a long time colleague of Wim Wenders has repeatedly cooperated with Cuban musicians from the band called Super Abuelost or Super Granddads. On his last journey he was accompanied by Wim Wenders and his small film crew, documenting the work in music studios, their life in Cuba but also their triumph in Carnegie Hall in New York. The film thus comprises not only of great music but provides also the history of the style evolution.
