Amarcord

In Amarcord Fellini recollects his childhood. He is tenderly nostalgic but at the same time ridicules the parochial narrow-mindedness. The atmosphere of the film is inconceivable without the wide range of unforgettable characters like the newsagent with the huge breasts or the spiffy owner of the cinema.
