Imagining Argentina

Abductions, tortures, murders, divided families – this is Argentina of the 1970’s. The dictatorship of those times showed no mercy to anyone. It was enough to disagree. Imagining Argentina is a personal confession of Carlos (A. Banderas), whose wife has been kidnapped. While he is searching for her he gets mysterious visions which help to save other kidnapped people, but unfortunately he is not able to help himself. Meanwhile Cecilie is plotting an escape. The film consists of two levels – a realist one and a dream one; and it has been filmed on location in Argentina and Spain.
