Born in the Žižkov neighborhood in the early '90s as a space for underground theater enthusiasts and kindred sonic explorers, Palác Akropolis has evolved in its 17 years into the nerve center of alternative Prague, a multimedia venue known for visionary musical programming that cuts across styles and genres. Today "Akráč" is a cultural institution - ever-changing, risk-taking, often controversial but always retaining its matchless atmosphere and energy. Jana Počtová's documentary checks in with the people who were there at the beginning and the ones who come back night after night, the generations ofartists, intellectuals and clubbers who have shaped Palác Akropolis and been shaped by it.
