Hansel & Gretel

Based on the fairytale by the brothers Grimm, the film combines drama with genre elements from Korean horror films to narrate a metaphorical story about the fear of unexpected fatherhood. A young man who has learned his girlfriend is pregnant, has a car crash on a road in deep woods. He is rescued by a girl and invited to the house of her family. The man soon finds out there is no escape from this strange place which strongly resembles fairytale illustrations and is inhabited by three terrifyingly self-assured kids and their nervous parents.
