Dead Man

After the death of his parents young accountant Bill Blake (J. Depp) travels from his hometown Cleveland to the west of the USA. he does not get the job he was promised and finds himself pennyless in a town of strangers. He kills the son of an owner of local metalworks and has to escape hired killers. This fatalistic western comedy by Jim Jarmusch tells a grotesque story about the feeling of being misplaced and the loss of traditional values. The dominat of the film is the music of Neil Young.
