Amen, Somen and Rugger Men!

At the turn of the century Mitsuhiro Mihara was one of the promising new talents from the Osaka University of Arts. At the beginning of his career he was shooting independent coming-of-age films which drew heavily on the local atmosphere of Osaka. Later he turned to directing several TV series, but he also continues directing feature-length films like the internationally acclaimed The Village Album. His entry to the Love Cinema series is a hilarious comedy about a beautiful young lady who comes to a boys’ high school as a new teacher and has to take the job of coaching the rugby team.
