Josef Winkler - The Cinemascreenwalker

The camera´s eye accompanies the successful Austrian writer Josef Winkler and the audience in a poetic road movie, jumps in clips and reverse angles from the „hallowed stable“ in a Carinthian mountain village to the banks of the Ganges, and immediately afterwards to the foot of the Popocatepetl, experiencing a volcanic eruption.

Josef Winkler will be reading from his works, on May 14th, 3 PM, as part of the programme of „Das Buch” at the Prague Book Fair “Svět knihy”. The screening is in partnership with the Austrian Cultural Forum Prague.
