The Stranger

This is Satyajit Ray‘s last film, and is based on one of his short stories. It all begins when Anila receives a letter from a man, who claims to be her long lost uncle. The man soon arrives and stays with the family, telling them that he is a well traveled anthropologist. Will the family accept or reject him? What will they do when the visitor suddenly disappear?
