Mischief

(Skřítek)
Tomáš Vorel / ČR, 2005
dialogues only in interjections, 90 min

The village family from the film Out of the City (Bolek Polívka and Eva Holubová…) moved to a small town. The children are not doing well in school neither their parents in their marriage. Meanwhile a sprite from the woods interferes. Between grotesque sketches by the theatre Sklep, interjections instead of dialogues and the music of MIG 21 “is not a time when the audience would not laugh or cry,” says the director Tomáš Vorel, who used the character of the sprite once before in the short film The Trip to Karlštejn (a part of the film Prague Five). In those days he played the role of the sprite himself this time he made it himself out of wood, tow and plasticine.
