The Fairy

In the port city of Le Havre, Dom works as the hotel night clerk, who spends his evenings watching TV. One evening, a young, shoeless woman enters the hotel and Dom’s life. She says her name is Fiona, and that she is a fairy who will grant Dom three wishes. Using his first two wishes, Dom finds that they have come true the next morning, but Fiona has vanished. As Dom heads out to find the fairy he has fallen in love with, hilarity ensues as he attempts to reunite with Fiona.

Dom est veilleur de nuit dans un petit hôtel du Havre. Un soir, une femme arrive à l’accueil, sans valise, pieds nus. Elle s’appelle Fiona. Elle dit à Dom qu’elle est une fée et lui accorde trois souhaits. Le lendemain, deux vœux sont réalisés et Fiona a disparu. Mais Dom est tombé amoureux de la Fée Fiona et veut la retrouver.
