Unlike everywhere else in the world, in the Czech Republic short film is still an almost exclusive domain of film schools, a point perfectly illustrated by this year’s five films. The program includes one film from the Miroslav Ondříček Film Academy in Písek and four from the Film and TV School (FAMU), one of which represents the Czech Republic in the International Competition.
