The Immortals

In 1985, at his hotel in Algarve, 50 years old Victor Pratas drinks to the memory of his four departed fellow soldiers, which he had met back in the 70’s during the colonial conflict in Africa. Now he is informed of the death of Joaquim Malarranha, an ex-detective that had become a guitar-player at his Fado House in Lisbon. At the funeral, Pratas recalls the times when he and his fellows were tired of the boredom of the country and of their lives in it, and the incident that led to the death of his companions. An incident in which the detective had had a very important role.
