Jan Křížek Sculptures and Bees

The centre of this meditative narrative from director Martin Řezníček is the almost forgotten Czech-French sculptor, painter and beekeeper, Jan Křížek. This highly individual artist, a representative of the art brut movement, left Czechoslovakia with his wife Jiřina in 1947 and worked and lived mostly in France.
